Ms. Kreycik's Class Pages

Ms. Kreycik has been teaching at CHS for 24 years. She graduated summa cum laude  from California Lutheran University with a B.A. in English, specializing in writing, with emphasis in British literature and American literature. She earned the Presidential Scholarship, the Armour Nelson Literature Scholarship, and was a National English Honor Society member. She then completed her teaching credential program at CLU, earning the Dr. Nusz Scholar Award, the Mark Van Doren Poetry Award, and the John R. Siemens Memorial Scholarship. Following this she completed her MFA in Creative Writing at National University. She has been in Who's Who of American High School Teachers multiple times, and has publication credits in poetry, short stories, and in the National Council of Teachers of English Classroom Notes Plus. She created CHS's first working web page, and launched and ran the AP Capstone program in its opening years.
